## Clarify who owns the shared-inbox next step

Use Righthand with Front to prepare an ownership review for one shared inbox. The useful result identifies conversations with unclear next steps, conflicting assignments, or missing source material. It should help the team coordinate without archiving messages to make the queue appear smaller.

Front's [conversation-list reference](https://dev.frontapp.com/reference/list-conversations) describes conversation status filtering and ticketing-related distinctions. Preserve the actual state and account configuration used in the review. A label such as archived should not be treated as proof that the underlying request was fulfilled.

## Choose inbox and reporting scope

Give the inbox, approved status filter, reporting interval, and team's ownership convention. For an illustrative vendor inbox, include active conversations needing an internal purchasing decision and the approved purchase references they mention.

Inspect Front's available tools through [integrations](/integrations). If message or assignment reads are absent, provide an approved export or authorize a browser review. Access to one conversation list does not prove that every inbox, teammate, or write action is available.

## A worked delegation brief

> At 10 AM America/Los_Angeles on Tuesday, review the approved vendor inbox's active conversations. Return a private ownership worksheet with conversation ID and link, inbox, exact status, assigned teammate where explicit, latest external question, and relevant internal decision evidence. Flag unassigned conversations and missing purchase references. Do not reply, archive, move, or assign messages. Deliver to me for inbox-owner review. Reconcile the status filter and conversation count and mark messages not retrieved.

This example is illustrative. An internal comment proposing a purchase is not authorization to confirm it with the vendor. Preserve the distinction in the worksheet.

## Define the expected output

An example entry could say: “Vendor asks for delivery address; purchasing reference supplied; internal owner unconfirmed; inbox owner must assign the decision.” The assistant should not send a guessed address from an unrelated account record.

Keep internal notes and external messages clearly separated. The review destination may include operational information that should never appear in the vendor-facing reply. A proposed response should be a separate draft with its sources and verified recipient.

## Reconcile assignments and new replies

Match conversation IDs on repeat runs. A changed assignee or inbox should update the same worksheet entry. Before a later authorized send, refresh the conversation and check whether the external party has added new information.

Pagination, permissions, and ticketing configuration can affect which conversations appear. An empty result under one status filter does not establish that the entire shared inbox has no unresolved work. Return the exact coverage and unresolved source questions.

If supported assignment or sending is approved, verify the resulting record and actual message association. Set authority through [Righthand connection permissions](https://docs.righthand.ai/guides/add-a-connection). Check [pricing](/pricing) for recurring shared-inbox coordination and keep the inbox owner responsible for vendor commitments.
