# Collect a library author event book sales arrangement

An event notice is sufficient when no sales arrangement is necessary.

## The work that the customer wants

An author will speak at a library. The author wants to sell books, but the event plan includes only the talk.

The librarian supplies the library's approved sales procedure and author email. Library staff give approval for event conditions.

## What the Righthand does

The Righthand sends these questions by email. It sends the reply to the events librarian.

The author’s preference does not establish a sales agreement.

## An illustrative result

> The author wants a local shop to sell the books. The shop did not give agreement to attend.

The librarian gives confirmation of the shop's arrangement before sending the book-sales notice.

## Access and permission
